"Excellent true barbeque. The brisket, pork, and ribs were smoked to perfection. Sides were all outstanding and made in-house. Seasoning was spot on, sauce actually but not needed. Armadillo egg was a delightful and full flavored surprise. I've seen a lot BBQ places, and this is one of the best in the South."

"We grabbed a Togo order for a picnic date and everything was fabulous! The owner and staff were all very friendly. The brisket and Mac and cheese are phenomenal, and I loved the corn casserole! My husband had the turkey, chicken, and pulled pork as well, all had amazing flavor, especially the chicken! Not often does the flavor actually go beyond the skin and get in to the chicken, but there was tons of flavor going on! The banana pudding was light and airy, almost like a mousse. Everything we had was fabulous, we will definitely be back!"

"First time in, on my birthday, which girlfriend told our waitress, O why Peanut did u do that. Came here when it was BBQ & Ice Cream, Timmy Jon's is "WAY BETTER" Armadillo Egg is killer, I'm a big pickle fan, so thanks for having pickles with it. As u can see by the pictures we got a little bit. Wasn't a fan of them coming out a singing happy birthday, but what can u do. Really liked the sweet potato casserole, the corn casserole is to die for, & the fried cabbage w/ bacon was really good. After eating all that barely touched the meat, did try a rib it was also really good. It's a must try to have the meat plain to see how the cook it. Then if ur a fan of sauce go for it, but like mine just how they cook it. All the meats was amazing, unfortunately a woman came in & bought all their sausage just before we got there. I love sausage, so that was disappointing, but I guess next time I come in will have to get that. If that woman came in to buy out the sausage, it must be really good! The experience was really good, didn't get a receipt so can't remember our waitresses name, I know it started with a "T" but that's it. See was spot on with all our needs. Will be seeing y'all soon!"

"Seriously good bbq and excellent service. Our table’s hostess was incredibly sweet and made sure we were taken care of. The food is amazing! I forgot to take a pic of my brisket sandwich but it was so good. Bf got brisket quesadillas which were excellent and melted in your mouth. You’re missing out if you don’t stop here!"

"The food did not disappoint. The Armadillo eggs were amazing. Brisket & pulled pork are full of flavor. Waitress was super friendly. I don't wish they had other options for BBQ sauce besides the one since I typically like the Carolina BBQ."

"A true gem we stumbled upon. Went to Dade City to cut a Christmas tree and left starving so needed to eat before 1+ ride home. Found this place and who doesn’t love BBQ. We stopped..upon walking in greater by friendly staff who later found out were the owners. All BBQ smoked on site and many delicious sides too. My teenagers loved every bit and we took some extra brisket home. We will certainly return and worth a day trip!"

"Found this place online as we were going to Snocat Ridge. We stopped in for breakfast and was greeted by the owner. Breakfast tacos were enjoyed by all and I had the Texas shaped pancakes. We decided to come back on the way home and so glad we did. The food was so good. I split the Texas sized baked potato with pulled pork. We also split the Brisket combo with sides of baked beans, fried cabbage with bacon and corn casserole. Definitely would go again when in the area."

"Excellent service, some of the best bbq I have eaten. Had the 3 meat plate. The Brisket, ribs, and pulled pork delicious. You can taste the Smokey wood flavors. The banana pudding is a must have. Is you are ever in the area it’s a must stop. Highly recommended."
